LSA GmbH – Company history
Laser Analytical Systems & Automation GmbH – LSA – was founded in 2004 as a spin-off of the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology (ILT) in Aachen. Based in the heart of Aachen, North Rhine-Westphalia, we benefit from a locally anchored, close-knit network of recognized experts in the field of measurement and automation technology.
Our core competence lies in the development and marketing of laser-based systems for the rapid and non-contact chemical analysis of materials in a process line. LSA’s broad technological overview in various application areas is the result of over fifteen years of know-how, integrated into LSA’s research and company network.
We have exclusive access to hardware components and patents specially developed for fast optical inline analysis, which are the unique selling point of LSA.
As a global pioneer, we successfully utilize the advantages of laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS), particularly for use in highly automated production facilities and process lines. It goes without saying that we meet the required targets for high availability and reliability of our measuring systems.
